Join the Young at Heart as we prepare our hearts for Easter at the Living Last Supper at FBC Centerville.

The event is free. Be prepared for a love offering if requested.

Led by the ministerial staff and lay leaders, this seminar explores what we believe and what we commit to one another. This seminar is for all ages 6th grade and above.

This class will begin at 9:15am during Sunday groups and meets in the fellowship hall.

Please feel free to drop your children off in our nursery or one of our Children’s Sunday School classes

Step back in time with your friends to the days we all met at the movies!  Bring your favorite movie candy to share. We’ll have pizza, popcorn and drinks!

The movie is the biopic "Reagan." It’s about the president you either voted for or you didn’t - but that was when we were all real young!

The cost is $3 per person. 

Wear your comfy clothes and come to the chapel for a great time with the Young at Heart!

Join us for CentiKid Camp this summer! Camp this year will be at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC. Camp is for kids who have completed 3rd - 5th grade.

Our High School and Middle School students will be attending FUGE together in 2025! We love FUGE because every minute of camp is intentional. They design programming to take students out of their normal routine and place them in an environment focused on life-change through relationship with Christ.

With MFuge, our students will jump into ministry in the local community. They will be lead by highly trained staffers who will handle the details, lead Bible study, and facilitate the schedule for each day.

Join the YAH as we ramble around the Appalachian foothills!  We’ll ramble around Helen and the surrounding areas and make 100% sure we stop at the Old Sautee Store!  It will a fun day of sight seeing, fun and fellowship.

We will provide the fuel and wheels.  Everything else is on you!

You haven’t had eatin’ until you’ve had a FBC Young at Heart Farm to Table eatin’.  Fresh vegetables picked straight from local gardens, cooked to culinary perfection by Judy Morgan and her team of renown, served impeccably on disposable plates with fancy plastic cutlery. This event will warm your heart and fill your belly.  Sign up so we know how many are coming.  Sign up your friends too.

We’ll also be doing an old fashioned hymn sing too so save your voice!

You’ll want to join us for our annual trip SOMEWHERE - and this year that where is Jekyll Island, Georgia.  We’ll spend 3 days and 3 nights at the Days Inn & Suites on the beach at Jekyll.  All of the rooms are Oceanside so you can relax, see and listen to the waves of the Atlantic. We’ll leave on Sunday afternoon and return Wednesday afternoon. 

We’ll tour the Jekyll Turtle Center as well as take a trolley tour of St. Simon’s Island. We’ll even visit some of Eugenia Price’s friends! We’ve designed the trip to be low-key so you can do as much or as little as you wish. We’ll have morning and evening devotions with a particularly moving experience at the fire pit making S’mores!

The cost of the trip is $350 per person (double occupancy) or $580 per person (single occupancy). Breakfast and dinner is included in the price.  Lunch is on your dime. 

If you’ve never been on a Young at Heart trip, you don’t know what you are missing. EVERY YAH trip is an adventure!
